I also like seeing a great poster, it's an art if you ask me. Just as I try to have great covers for the books I've translated, I also adore lovely images on movie posters. LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS, AIRBENDER, SEX AND THE CITY and RED SONJA are all amazing.

Glad you have your favorites from this list, Dezz;)

Sometimes poster/book cover is what catches the eye and makes you want to watch/read the movie/book :)

Yep, when it comes to books, we always make sales bigger in my publishing house when we change the cover and make it visually attractive and stunning, along with me writing new, more attractive, cover copies for the back cover :) 90% of people buy the books they like visually. And all my books are visually stunning, off course :)))))

Unfortunately, I'm not a big book reader and I rarely buy books, to be honest :( Don't want to use this as an excuse, but I really don't have enough time to read as much as I want to, and I read only before I go to sleep :(
I'm more than sure, your books all have splendid covers ;)

I'm sure you would enjoy most of my books, because I mostly translate very cinematic books, novels which feel like watching a film while you are reading them: Roman legions, ancient Greek heroes, Hellenic Gladiatrix, Mongol tribes, Moroccan pirates and sheiks ... just some of the people appearing in my books :)

Burried poster is really intriguing but it somehow reminded we with posters of Thai horror "The Coffin".
Dezmy I wonder if one day you'll try to translate an Asian tale too coz our legend also very rich with fantasy, heroic tale and romances.

@Dezz
I'm pretty sure your books will be 'cinematically' enjoyable ;)

@Jaccsy
I'm familiar with this "Coffin" poster, but it's neither as claustrophobic, nor as intense as "Buried" poster. It more reminds me of some Gothic horror comic book cover....

Jaccsy, I've already did Asian novels - JIANG RONG'S "WOLF TOTEM", a truly amazing saga, was one of the first books I did, and it was a book which also got quite a few literary awards around the world.
